Curves Strong Women Challenge: 10 Weeks to a Stronger You

Strength plays an important role in many different aspects of our lives: physical, mental, and emotional. Take a moment to consider what strength means to you and in what ways you are, or hope to be, a strong woman—a Curves Strong Woman.

Join the 10 week Curves Strong Women Challenge and make a commitment to yourself through health and fitness. At the end of the challenge, we invite you to submit your story into one of three categories: Transformed, Inspirational, and Healthy. The national winners of each category will receive prizes, such as gift cards, Curves products, and even a trip to San Diego for a full makeover, photography session and video shoot!* Read on for more about these three categories:


In only 10 weeks at Curves, you can accomplish so much more than drop a few pounds and pick up some strength. Curves transforms. Walk in the door of your local club and commit to working out for a mere 30 minutes at least 3 or 4 times a week.

With strength training, you gradually build muscle, which helps raise your metabolism to burn more calories. The cardiovascular component of the circuit workout enhances weight loss, improves your heart health, and boosts feel-good endorphins.

After a dozen weeks, you emerge stronger, leaner, healthier, and happier—a total transformation to strong.

An inspirational Curves Strong Woman might be one who uses the 30-minute workout to bounce back from a health issue or the loss of a loved one.

Healthy strong is, as Webster would say, physical power—the power you need to live the life you want, not only managing day-to-day activities: walking here and there, going up and down stairs, lifting, carrying, cleaning, yard work, and so forth, but the physical strength to do what you want to do: hiking, cycling, sports, travel, or playing with your kids or grandkids. Maybe you want to set the goal of racing a 5K or a 10K?

Curves can also help you build lean muscle that helps prevent diseases like diabetes, osteoporosis and breast cancer. Physical power forges great health, from improved cholesterol and hypertension to better weight management and helping to alleviate chronic pain.
